Poetrie Style Mission: What is a Statement Accessory?

A “statement accessory” is an accessory that stands out or makes a statement. A statement accessory might be an over-sized item that outshines any other jewelry you are wearing. If you aren’t into big jewelry, keep in mind that statement accessories can be small, unique conversation pieces as well.

Celebrities That Rock Statement Accessories

Beyonce, Leighton Meester, Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna are just some of the celebrities who love wearing big, bold, statement necklaces.

Take note: Always wear statement necklaces with simple dresses and tops. Choose strapless tops, dresses in basic colors and stay away from turtlenecks or anything with neck embellishments.
